CoralStone Escape, a lovingly restored celebration of Barbados’ architectural soul and natural beauty. The house features its original coral stone walls, quarried from the very limestone that forms Barbados’ geological composition. Similarly, it’s terracotta floors are crafted from locally mined clay mined, echoing the island’s ceramic heritage of the Amerindian Arawaks. While it’s awning windows, are a hallmark of Bajan vernacular architecture. Throughout the home, these intentionally preserved features are thoughtfully complemented by wood accents, soft coastal hues, and curated touches that evoke the sea. Every detail is designed to harmonize with the home’s natural character while offering modern amenities and comfort.
Bedrooms – CoralStone Escape features two bedrooms, each furnished with air conditioning, ceiling fans, a full-sized bed, soft linens, bedside lamps with cellphone/tablet charging stations, built-in closets with clothes hangers, ambient lighting and adjustable zebra blinds for a restful retreat. One bedroom includes a dedicated workspace – with a neat desk, office chair and wall-mounted magnetic marker board, perfect for digital nomads or travelers who need to stay connected in comfort.
Kitchen – Step into a modern, fully equipped kitchen with premium appliances including a spacious double-door refrigerator with a double-drawer freezer, 5-burner stove with oven, microwave, toaster, blender, electric kettle, coffee maker and complimentary tea and coffee station with a Caribbean flair. Guests are also welcome to harvest fresh herbs and seasonings from our garden planters, perfect for elevating home-cooked dishes with authentic island taste. Whether you’re whipping up a quick breakfast or preparing a gourmet dinner, you’ll have everything you need right at your fingertips.
Laundry Area – Enjoy the convenience of a full-sized washer and dryer for guest use – ideal for longer stays or refreshing your beachwear after a day of island adventures. Complementary laundry pods and dryer sheets are also provided for your convenience.
Living/Dining Room – Unwind in a bright and welcoming living space featuring a comfortable couch that easily transforms into an additional pull-out full-sized bed, a PS3 gaming console, and a 58-inch smart TV mounted on an articulated wall bracket for flexible viewing from the living or dining area. Whether you’re gaming, streaming your favorite series, hosting a movie night, or gathering around the 4-seater dining table for a game of cards or board games, every detail is designed with your comfort in mind.
Outdoor Oasis – Step outside to a fully screened fenced outdoor retreat that invites relaxation and alfresco dining. A budding hedge adds a touch of privacy as it grows into a lush natural border, while the expansive lawned area offers the perfect setting for unwinding under the island sun. The lawned area extends to the back of the property, where an outdoor clothes line is conveniently located. While on the opposite side, the gated driveway accommodates two vehicles, ensuring secure and convenient off-street parking during your stay.
The front of the property features a serene garden setting with a cozy patio entrance that’s great for quiet reflection or a morning coffee outdoors.
